International Symposium on Networked Cyber-Physical Systems

The University of Maryland’s Institute for Systems Research (ISR) and the Technische Universität München’s Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) are jointly organizing a new series of International Symposia on Networked Cyber-Physical Systems.

The first symposium, NET-CPS 2016, will take place this year from September 19-20 at the IAS, located in Garching, a suburb of Munich, Germany. The second will be held at ISR in College Park, Md., in September 2017. In subsequent years they will alternate each year between Munich and College Park. This is the beginning of a major collaboration between the two institutes in this critical and very rapidly evolving research area.

Registration is free but space is limited. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Oktoberfest will be on during the period of the Symposium so hotel accommodations need to be made quickly.

There is an open call for submission of posters by students and other researchers. There is also limited financial support for about 20 to 25 accepted poster presenters, thanks to support from the National Science Foundation and the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).

Visit the Symposium web site for complete information on the program, registration, poster submission and hotel/travel information.
