At the Clark School's 2009 Staff Appreciation Event Wednesday, 12 staff members who have worked at the university for 20, 25 or 30 years were recognized. These staff members were:

Rebecca Sarni - 30 years
Ahmad Kassaee - 25 years

Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Susan Pleyo - 25 years
Kathleen Lopresti - 20 years

Department of Fire Protection Engineering
Patricia Baker - 30 years

Fischell Department of Bioengineering
Catherine Carroll - 20 years

Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute
Charles Carr - 25 years
Joseph Naft - 25 years
Paul Gietka - 20 years
Linda Johnson - 20 years

Department of Mechanical Engineering
Isabelita Brown - 20 years
Juanita Irvin - 20 years

Additionally, Olivia Goetz of electrical and computer engineering was recognized for 43 years of service to the university - she will retire later this year.
