Texas Instruments Supports ECE Centennial


Texas Instruments has made a gold-level sponsorship gift of $10,000 to support the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Centennial Celebration, scheduled for September 26-27, 2008.

"We are very grateful to receive this gift from Texas Instruments in support of our ECE Centennial," said Prof. Patrick O'Shea, chair of ECE. "We are particularly thankful to have our longtime corporate partner, Texas Instruments, with us to celebrate 100 years of electrical engineering at Maryland."

Texas Instruments is an ECE Corporate Affiliate and a Corporate Partner of the Clark School. The company currently supports the Texas Instruments (TI) Scholar program for ECE graduate students.
