U.S. News & World Report "America's Best Graduate Schools" ranks the Clark School No. 16 (10th among Public Universities)In the the most recent issue of The U.S. News & World Report "America's Best Graduate Schools" ranks the A. James Clark School of Engineering and its constituent graduate programs among the very best in the nation. The Clark School as a whole is ranked number 16 (10th among public universities), tied with Princeton University and University of California, Los Angeles.
Under engineering specialties, out of seven programs, six have been ranked among the top 25. Specifically, Aerospace Engineering is ranked 9th (5th among public universities), Electrical Engineering is ranked 14th (8th among publics), Computer Engineering is ranked 16th (9th among publics), Civil Engineering is ranked 22nd (15th among publics), Materials Engineering is ranked 23rd (13th among publics) and Mechanical Engineering is ranked 24th (15th among publics).
"These achievements are a testimony to the quality of the Clark School's faculty, staff and students and a reflection of our collective commitment to excellence. We have established our leadership in engineering education by recruiting outstanding faculty members, launching new research initiatives and strengthening well-established research programs, in addition to developing outstanding academic experiences for our students," states Engineering School Dean Nariman Farvardin. "We will continue our efforts toward building one of the very best engineering programs in the world," he adds.
