Discovery Channel Science Challenge Comes to Campus

Discovery Channel Science Challenge Comes to Campus


The University of Maryland will host the Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge, for kids in grades 5 to 8, on October 15-19.

Forty students from across the nation have been invited. They will be divided into teams that will work on a series of scientific projects on the theme "Forces of Nature." The Discovery Channel will film their progress.

The competition will take place in the Cole Activities Building.
