Meet Justin Pearson, a Ph.D. student and Clark Doctoral Fellow at the University of Maryland's A. James Clark School of Engineering.

The Clark Doctoral Fellows Program, an initiative of the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, supports high-performing Ph.D. students with four years of funding. As an impetus for research in strategic and vital areas, the Clark Doctoral Fellows Program supports 30 first-year doctoral students each year. The program was created as part of Building Together: An Investment for Maryland, the Foundation's $219.5 million investment in the University of Maryland announced in October 2017.
