MSE Professor Honored at APS Annual Meeting


Marina Leite, an Assistant Professor in the UMD Department of Materials Science and Engineering and a 2016 Ovshinsky Sustainable Energy Fellowship Recipient, was recognized at the American Physical Society (APS) Annual Meeting, which took place March 13-17, 2017, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Leite is also an IREAP faculty member whose group is currently researching materials for energy harvesting and storage, which include photovoltaics, plasmonics and all-solid-state batteries. Much of Dr. Leite's research has been featured in scientific journals, such as Applied Physics Letters and Advanced Energy Materials.
