BGE President and CEO to Speak at Clark School Graduation

The Clark School's speaker at this month's commencement ceremony will be Kenneth W. DeFontes Jr., president and CEO of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE).

DeFontes also serves as senior vice president of Constellation Energy, the parent company of BGE. He started at BGE as an associate engineer.

DeFontes is a member of several professional and civic organizations. A resident of Baltimore County, he received his BS in engineering from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Loyola College.

The Clark School's commencement ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Dec. 22 in the Cole Student Activities Building. The university's ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 21 in the Comcast Center.
