Professor Kyu Yong Choi

ChBE professor and undergraduate program director Kyu Yong Choi was elected a Permanent Member of the Korea Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) in Seoul, Korea on November 17, 2006. He was elected a Member of the KAST in 2001, and a Member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK) in 2000.

Dr. Choi has been a member of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering since 1984. He currently leads the Polymer Reaction Engineering Laboratory, which focuses on polymerization kinetics, polymerization reactor/process modeling, control, and optimization.
