Professor P.S. Krishnaprasad of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department and the Institute for Systems Research (ISR) was chosen as the winner of the 2007 Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Control Systems Society Hendrik W. Bode Prize. As this year's recipient, Krishnaprasad will deliver the one hour Bode Prize Lecture at the 2007 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control on December 14, 2007 in New Orleans.

The prize was developed by the IEEE Control Systems Society to recognize distinguished contributions to control systems science or engineering. The prize includes a cash award of $2,000, as well as a plaque and certificate. For more information about the prize, as well as a list of past recipients, please visit:
