Fluid Dynamics Expert Joins Clark School

Professor Anya R. Jones

Assistant Professor Anya Jones has joined the Clark School's Aerospace Engineering Department.

Jones was previously at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, where she completed her Ph.D. in experimental aerodynamics. She received her B.S. degree in aeronautical and mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2004 and her S.M. in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT in 2006. Her research is focused on experimental fluid dynamics including unsteady low Reynolds number aerodynamics, vortex dynamics, and flow control with applications to MAVs, flapping wings and wind/water turbines.
