Wanda Austin, president and CEO of The Aerospace Corporation, will be the Clark School's spring 2010 commencement speaker.

Austin is a former senior vice president at the company and general manager of the Military Satellite Communications Division. Before joining Aerospace, Austin was on the technical staff of Rockwell International. She is internationally recognized for her work in satellite and payload system acquisition, systems engineering and system simulation. She served on Pres. Obama's Review of Human Spaceflight Plans Committee and this year was appointed to the Defense Science Board.

The student speaker will be bioengineering major Allon Meizlik.

The Clark School will announce the winners of the Poole and Kent Teaching Award for Senior Faculty, the E. Robert Kent Outstanding Teaching Award for Junior Faculty, the Clark School Faculty Service Award, and the Outstanding Service Award for Staff during the ceremony.

The Clark School's graduation ceremony will take place at 12 p.m., May 21, at the Comcast Center. The University's commencement ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. on May 20 at the Comcast Center.
